The right to bear arms..

This can be a touchy subject for some people, but what are your views on the right for citizens to bear arms?? Do you think they should keep the right or should it be taken away?

That's what I say too. I mean..how is one supposed to keep themselves and their family safe and secure otherwise? Their country too for that matter.

Yeah keep definitely. I mean c'mon. What are families gonna do if there's a guy with a knife coming at you. You can't kindly ask him to put the knife down.

ON a more serious note, if the right to bear arms was ever taken away, it would be more than time for another revolution in this country, imho.

Yeah, I agree. People think the crime rate would go down if we lost the right to bear arms, but in all actuality, people would smuggle weapons just like they do drugs. Having that right taken away isn't gonna stop them from killing someone.

Thanks! I mean..yeah, having arms can be dangerous, but as individuals and as a country, we'd be a lot more secure being able to keep that right. That's just my two cents on the matter.

I mean, also too, having the right to bear arms shouldn't be infringed..it helps show the government their power has limitations.

I believe also that the crime rate would skyrocket 'cause once the crooks know that the houses don't have guns in them, what's to stop them from breaking in and stealing stuff? Or murdering people?

Not only that, but the crime rate would sky-rocket. Criminals don't care whether they're allowed to own firearms or not, consequently, they would lord over law-abiding citizens who would have no way to defend themselves against firearms when attacked.
